A young male wolf named Ace had an idea. It was of a great wolf, a great wolf that was in the heavenly sky; a wolf named Apollo. Ace said that Apollo had come to him and revealed the secrets of the world.
Most wolves laughed at him. However, some welcomed the idea. They made Ace their leader. He transformed the Shamanis pack, and renamed it the Cult of Apollo, after his religion - for that was what it was, a religion. He made up a new hierarchy, and made rules and customs for the pack.
As all things end, Ace eventually died, and other rulers lead the pack. Eventually, however, the pack became so large that it broke apart, into two: Apollo's Messengers, and Apollo's Followers. Although the packs claimed different territories, they were essentially the same, regarding hierarchy, rules, and customs.
Since the formation of the two packs, things have been peaceful. The Cult of Apollo says that there is no magic: the only magic in the world is the wolves themselves, the island Nevaeh, and their entire existence.
But then, suddenly, a young wolf named Elysria, a nun of Apollo's Messengers, began to exhibit odd behaviour. Her eyes would sometimes glow, and whenever they did, objects - rocks, leaves - would appear to levitate and hurl themselves around. Naturally, the Messengers were extremely concerned. They examined Elysria, and were convinced that she was tainted by the evils of impropriety. They banished her from the pack. Other wolves began to show odd traits, too: some made the weather change, others levitated objects, too; others still made fire out of thin air. They were all exiled.
The same thing was happening in Apollo's Followers. They, too, were banishing strange wolves. And unknown to both packs, the banished wolves were banding together in the unclaimed territories of the island. They called themselves Apollo's Rejects...- Unique plot
